Dr. Gunn graduated from Auburn University before earning his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. His exceptional level of surgical training continued with a general surgery residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Stephen Gunn is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Dr. Gunn is also board certified and fully trained in general surgery.
